Embroidered coloring page part 5

Here are the explanations necessary for the making of the 5 small flowers which are added to the main patterns.

First of all, to begin with, in the colors of “Flamenco”.

This flower is embroidered with satin stitch on 2-thread padding in the upper part of the petals (you will find a photo of this work below). It is then decorated with lazy daisy stitch and French knots in the center, all with 2 threads.

This flower is also embroidered with satin stitch as before with a center also realized in the same way and then decorated with French knots.

The outer petals and the center of this flower are made with satin stitch on 2-thread padding. Fill the small petals with tight 2-thread straight stitches and outline each petal with a 2-thread buttonhole bullion stitch.

Here is the photo of the padding used to embroider the petals with satin stitch.

This flower is also embroidered with satin stitch as before and then decorated with 1 thread straight stitches. The center is made with a split backstitch and 2 threads then finished with a French knot in the center.

After having underlined the petals wit split backstitch, pad them as before with 2 threads but using different colors per half petal. Cover them with satin stitch in the corresponding colors.

Embroider the center with split backstitch and add a crown of French knots all around it.

Here are now the same patterns embroidered in the colors of “Cool Mint”.

Embroider this flower like the one in the first picture.

This flower is embroidered in the same way as the one in the second photo with a center also embroidered with satin stitch and decorated with French knots.

The outer petals are embroidered with padded satin stitch. The small petals are made with spaced blanket stitch, then add a straight stitch in the spaces, all with 2 threads.

The center is embroidered with French knots.

This flower is embroidered in the same way as the one in the fifth picture.

Here is how to embroider the half petals with 2 different colors.

Here is the finished flower.

Embroider the center with split backstitch and add a crown of French knots all around it, all with 2 threads.
