Winter Wreath
To round off the year 2023, here’s the Winter Wreath.
It’s part of the famous Crowns of Seasons series on sale on my online site and in my Etsy store. I’ve chosen to publish it virtually, without printed fabric or threads, but complete enough to allow you to make it using this tutorial.

Holly
stems, stem stitch 2 threads – leaves, Cretan stitch 2 threads
berries, satin stitch 1 thread and a French knot 1 thread 2 wraps on some fruits
Snowdrops
stems, stem stitch 2 threads – leaves, satin stitch 1 thread
flowers, satin stitch 1 thread embellished with some straight stitches of a different color at the tips of the petals
Foliage
stems, stem stitch 2 threads – leaves, satin stitch 1 thread
Mistletoe
stems, stem stitch 1 thread – leaves, satin stitch 1 thread
berries, satin stitch 1 thread and a French knot 1 thread 2 wraps on some fruits
Ivy
stems, stem stitch 1 threads
leaves, blanket stitch 1 thread and veins in straight stitch 2 threads
Hellebores
flowers, blanket stitch 1 thread
centers, ribbed spider web 2 threads surrounded with chain stitch 1 thread
stems, stem stitch 1 thread – leaves, satin stitch 1 thread
