Embroidered Pashmina

Design #1 (first part)

This is the first in a series of designs we intend to offer as part of an embroidered pashmina.

I’ll be proposing several of them in different shapes and colors over the next few weeks before deciding which ones will be chosen for embroidering the pashmina. It goes without saying that each of these designs can be used individually according to one’s whim.

You can download the drawing HERE as usual.

Here’s how I did it,

I’ve tried to keep my work simple, bearing in mind that these motifs will be reproduced a number of times on the scarf, so the time spent embroidering each one must remain within reason.

To embroider this first part of the design, I used 3 different stitches, stem stitch with 2 threads, as well as satin stitch and seeding stitch, both with 1 thread.

I also chose to work with a restricted color palette, using only 3 shades of blue, 8224, 813, 827, and 3 shades of coral, 350, 352 and 353.

Below you’ll find some close-up photos to help you work on this design.
