Embroidered Pashmina
First design completed
This is the second part of a series of designs for the embroidered pashmina we intend to make.
I’ll be suggesting a number of designs with different shapes and colors over the next few weeks before deciding which ones to use for embroidering the pashmina. It goes without saying that each of these designs can be used individually, according to your imagination.
Here’s how I did it
I’ve tried to keep my work simple, bearing in mind that these motifs will be reproduced a number of times on the scarf, so the time spent embroidering each of them must remain within reason.
To embroider this second part of the design I’ve added 3 new stitches, the laisy daisy stitch, the bullion stitch and the French knot. In this design, they are all used with 2 threads.
The colour palette remains the same, with just three shades of blue: 8224, 813 and 827, and three shades of coral: 350, 352 and 353.
Below you’ll find close-up photos to help you complete this motif with ease.
