Below you will find the explanations and photos needed to make the green border surrounding the central part of the pattern.
To embroider this border, I used DMC 772 and 164 thread colors and House of Embroidery Verdon 87B thread.
Embroider the outline of the embroidery in stem stitch with 2 threads.
Make the small vertical separations by first placing a large lazy daisy stitch with 2 threads and color 772 on the design line and then adding a straight stitch with color 164 in the middle of the loop using the entire cotton strand (all 6 threads).
Mark the intermediate rectangular patterns with a pencil.
Outline the rectangles with a backstitch using 1 thread.
Pad the patterns with 2 threads…
…and finish by covering these patterns with satin stitch and 1 thread.
