3rd part, floral pattern and scroll
Below you will find the explanations for the third pattern in this tile.
As it is relatively simple to make, I offer you only one version.
To make it, I used House of Embroidery Verdon 87 thread and DMC 162, 996 and 645 threads.
Do the usual preparation work using a split backstitch.
Pad generously with 2 threads…
…and cover the petals with satin stitch 1 thread.
Underline each petal with backstitch and 1 thread using the opposite color of the petal.
Stretch 5 threads in a star shape in the center of the flower to be able to make a simple spider web with 2 threads.
Here is a photo of the complete flower with the finished spider web in the center.
Make the scroll with stem stitch and the thicker parts with satin stitch, all with 1 thread.
