SATURDAY CLASSES

Introduction to Saturday classes

These classes take place on Saturdays, and are designed to enable you to work on your chosen project, going through each motif and stitch used, so that you can complete it without difficulty at home.

These classes are designed for embroiderers of all levels who would like some guidance in completing their work. The maximum number of participants is 7

The work and threads for the course are supplied, along with full printed explanations, and the price of the course is 100.- sfr.

The Christmas wraeth, on october 26, 2024

This is a medium-difficulty work using 11 different stitches. 

stem stitch, lazzy daisy, french knot, blanket stitch, straight stitch, satin stitch, fly stitch, back stitch, split back stitch, ribbed spider web stitch, cretan stitch,

in a variety of materials, including gradient, metallic, ribbon and beaded threads.

This is also a work of medium to high difficulty, due to the numerous motifs created using 15 different stitches, as listed below:

stem stitch, straight stitch, french knot, long and short stitch, fishbone stitch, lazzy daisy, colonial knot, stem stitch, straight stitch, french knot, long and short stitch, fishbone stitch, lazzy daisy, colonial knot, straight stitch, fly stitch, blanket stitch, bullion knot, cast-on stitch, chain stitch, couching, pistil stitch.

It’s perfect for those of you who have already taken part in several of my courses, but also for those with a taste for discovery.

Last but not least, an ever-popular primer tor reviewing a whole series of basic stitches

It uses 10 different stitches:

stem stitch, lazzy daisy et double lazzy daisy, french knot, colonial knot, whipped spider web, fly stitch, bullion knot, blanket stitch, straight stitch, fishbone stitch.

and, if required, to practice the most common basic stitches in traditional embroidery.

This model is originally a needle holder, and if you decide to assemble it this way, you can obtain the necessary material and explanations from me for a supplement of 10.- sfr; just let me know by email.
