Embroidered cover for eReader
It’s been a long time since I wanted to replace the leather case of my eReader with a personalized and embroidered cover.
I thought that this summer period was the perfect opportunity to implement this project, so in this article I propose the detailed realization of my work.
The first part of this article is devoted to the embroidery and I will not dwell on it for a long time. Indeed, if you follow this blog for a while you will see that it presents no difficulty.
I chose to focus instead on the realization of the cover. I found the explanations on the Internet and they seem simple and generic.
I do not indicate any specific measure for this work because, if I personally decided to adjust it to the size of my reader, it is adaptable to many other projects.

I used the following House of Embroidery stranded cottons

and here is the list of the stitches
Stem stitch, back stitch and split back stitch, fishbone stitch, French knot, lazy daisy stitch, satin stitch, long and short stitch, blanket stitch and trellis stitch.
Stem stitch, back stitch and French knots are made with 2 threads, all the rest with 1 thread.
All the stitches used for this work are explained in the menu “STITCHES“.
