Needle painted tulips

Flower n°2

Petal 3

To embroider this petal, I used colors 3831, 893, 746, 224, 445, 725, 369, 760, 471, 472, 304 and 221.

Start by embroidering the edge of the petal with split backstitch and colors 3831 and 224.

I turned the embroidery 180 ° to embroider this part of the petal. The work begins under the reverse and ends at the base of the petal.

Start by embroidering with color 224.

Continue with color 746.

Then with color 369.

Start the lower and yellow part of the petal with the color 445.

Then add the color 725.

Use colors 472 and 471 to mark the center vein and emphasize the sides of the petal with a few stitches with the color 760.

To embroider the reverse of the petal, I put the embroidery back to its original position.

Start with color 304.

Finish filling this reversed part with colors 221 and 893.
