Needle painted Rose part 3 Left lateral petal This petal is embroidered with the colors n° B5200, 3609, 3608, 3804, 3806, 153, 3685, 369 (new color), 164 and 924. After having edged the pattern with split backstitch 1 thread, mark the line between the top and the bottom of the petal with the color 3685 then start to embroider with the colors 3804 and 3806. Finish the petal by adding colors 3608 and 153. Underline the lower edge of the petal with color 3685. Start embroidering the small leaf under the petal with color 164. Complete with color 369 (new color). Finish by marking all the shadows with the color 924. Start embroidering the main part of the petal with color 3804. Continue using colors 3806, 3608, 3609, and 153 as in the photo. Respect the direction of the stitches to give movement to the petal. Use color 153 to bring light to the central part of the petal. Continue towards the bottom of the petal with color 3609. Finish the bottom of the petal with colors 153 then B5200. Underline the outline then mark the shadows with the color 3685.
