Clematis

the last 2 petals and centers

Here are the explanations you will need to embroider the last 2 petals and the 2 centers.

The last 2 petals are embroidered the same way as the previous ones and I added the color 3827 to make the centers.

Petal n°1

After embroidering the outline of the petal in split backstitch with color 3747 and the veins with color 336, all with 1 thread, begin filling the petal with the tip and color 3747.

Continue by adding colors 341, 153 and 3807 as shown in the photo.

Embroider the reverse side of the petal first with color 3747 and then add color 341 on the whole lower part.

Finish by marking the outline of the petal with color 336.

Petal n°2

Start making this petal in the same way as the previous one.

Add colors 153, 554 and 3807 in very light touches.

Embroider the reverse side of the petal first with color 3747 and then add color 341 on the whole lower part. As with the previous petal, outline it with color 336. (I forgot to take a picture of the finished petal…I’m sorry).

Center n°1

Start by embroidering long straight stitches with 1 thread and color 3823 in the center part still empty.

Add color 3827.

Embroider a few stitches with color 645 at the base of the center.  Add the stamens in a 2 thread straight stitch with color 550.

Center n°2

Fill a large portion of the area intended for the center with colors 336 and 3807, leaving a small space to be filled with 1 thread straight stitches and color 3823.

Add a few stitches with colors 3827 and 3348. Finish by embroidering the stamens in the same way as for the first center.
