How to embroider a garden with 9 basic stitches
part 2
This article is dedicated to the explanations concerning the 2nd part of this project.
Below you will find the work to be done on the remaining groups of flowers to be embroidered and on the details of the finishing designs.

The list of stitches used can be found in the previous article.
Nasturtia
The flowers are embroidered in blanket stitch with 1 thread then embellished with straight stitches 2 threads arranged star-shaped.
The leaves are also embroidered in blanket stitch and the rootlets in backstitch, all with 1 thread.
Hyacinths
The flowers are fully embroidered in French knots with 2 threads and 2 wraps.
The stems and leaves are made in straight stitch with 2 threads.
Foxgloves
First, embroider the stems in stem stitch with 2 threads.
Each group of flowers is made with 2 or 3 2-thread blanket stitches placed in a fan pattern. Start the work at the bottom of the stem and finish at the top with 3 French knots 2 threads 1 wrap.
The foxglove group is finished.
Snail
As usual, before making satin stitch, underline the edge of the design in backstitch with 1 thread.
Embroider the body of the snail with satin stitch1 thread.
Embroider the shell in spaced blanket stitch with 2 threads. Make this work in a spiral starting at the outside of the design and ending in the center.
Finishing touch
Forget-me-nots and butterflies
Forget-me-nots are made of 5 French knots 2 threads 2 wraps for the petals and another one in the center for the heart of the flower.
