Three snowflakes

 

 

Here are three very simple and quick snowflake proposals.

You will find the patterns to download HERE or directly in the menu of the blog “Patterns 2021”.

Their realization is simple and here are the explanations…

The threads

 

To embroider these flakes, I used an assortment of metallic threads n°4 from ” Au Ver à Soie”, a red DMC cotton, and 2,6 mm beads in green and red.

The 3 flakes are embroidered in the same way.

The branches are stitched with 2 strands of thread in fly stitch. (I used 2 different colors of thread).

The red “drops” are made of DMC cotton. Embroider a double lazy daisy stitch with 3 strands of thread and then insert the beads in the central part.

To finish, I added the final touch by decorating the snowflakes with various beads and a Swarowski crystal in the center.
