Flowered balcony
second and third bouquets
Pictured on my flowered balcony…
You will find below the explanations and the photos necessary for the realization of the last two bouquets.
To embroider the second bouquet I used the following colors
Stranded DMC cotton B5200 and 153
House of Embroidery stranded cotton 36A the Sea, 69A Woodlands, and 49B Fuchsia
House of Embroidery Perle cotton n°8 15C Pansy
Embroider the leaves in 1 thread leaf stitch and color 69A. Embroider the roses with bullion stitch 2 threads and DMC B5200 cotton. You will find the rose tutorial HERE if needed.
First, embroider the leaves with lazy daisy stitch 2 threads and color 36A. Then work the flowers in 1 thread blanket stitch and color 49C. Finish with a French knot 2 threads 2 wraps and color 153 in the center.
Expand the bouquet with Perle cotton French knots and color 15C.
To embroider the second bouquet I used the following colors
Stranded DMC cotton B5200, 3687 and 3768
House of Embroidery stranded cotton 36A and B the Sea, 22A Lavataria and 19B Aster
House of Embroidery Perle cotton n°8 15B Pansy
Embroider the leaves in 1 thread fishbone stitch and color 36A. Embroider the petals of the daisies with lazy daisy stitch 2 threads and color B5200. Then add 2-thread straight stitches in the loops and French knots 2 threads 2 wraps in the centers, all with color 3687.
Embroider the leaves to the far left in 1 thread blanket stitch and color 36B then add a few straight stitches 1 thread also with color 3768. Embroider the leaves on the cob at the top of the bouquet in 1 thread blanket stitch and color 22A. Finish by embroidering the stems in 2-thread stem stitch and color 36B.
