Little Christmas wreath

Here are the explanations necessary for the realization of this wreath

The pattern of this wreath can be downloaded HERE

The ribbons are made using juxtaposed rows of stem stitch.

They are embroidered as follows.

1 row of metallic thread n° 8 gold (Au Ver à Soie).

1 row of red and gold synthetic thread (that I had in my stash but whose origin I do not remember and which has the size of a pearl cotton n° 5 at DMC).

1 row of metallic thread n° 8 gold (Au Ver à Soie).

3 or 4 rows of Perle silk (Au Ver à Soie).

The pink flowers are embroidered with blanket stitch in raw silk (House of Embroidery n° 44B) and embellished with a very small pink rocaille bead.

The purple clusters are embroidered in French knots 2 threads and 2 wraps in raw silk (House of Embroidery n° 34).

The roses are woven with a 4mm white silk ribbon (House of Embroidery) and decorated with a golden bead. I put the bead before weaving the ribbon.

The white daisies are embroidered with lazy daisy stitch 2 threads in raw silk (House of Embroidery 31) and have a small seed bead in the color of the red ribbons in the center.

The leaves surrounding the pink flowers are embroidered with satin stitch 1 thread and raw silk (House of Embroidery 8).

The leaves surrounding the daisies are embroidered with double lazy daisy stitch 2 threads and raw silk (House of Embroidery 5).

The leaves surrounding the purple clusters are embroidered with stem stitch and lazy daisy stitch, all with 1 thread and raw silk (House of Embroidery 56).

The fir branches are embroidered with fly stitch and a dark green metallic thread n°4 (Au Ver à Soie). I added a small straight stitch also in golden thread also n°4 (Au Ver à Soie) at the end of each branch.

 Here is the completed wreath.

I added small golden beads in small groups (no more than 3 or 4 beads at a time) to give sparkle to the embroidery and give it a very festive touch.
