We used 11 different stitches to complete this design<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Stem stitch, French knot, split back stitch, fishbone stitch, straight stitch, satin stitch, long and short stitch, trellis stitch<\/span><\/h4>\n

Don\u2019t forget that each surface embroidered with satin stitch or long and short stitch\u00a0must be first encircled with a split back stitch 1 thread!<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

The parrot is fully embroidered with long and short stitch\u00a0and each part (feathers, head, beak) has been previously surrounded\u00a0with a split back stitch. All the embroidery is done with a single thread.<\/span><\/h4>\n

I began by embroidering the feathers of the tail.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The back of the parrot (part between the feathers) is embroidered with blanket stitch ” in layers”\u00a0from bottom to top with 1 thread.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The feathers are embroidered starting with those at the bottom and going up to the head. For each feather to be well delineated, it must be surrounded with a split back stitch 1 thread. First embroider the feathers of the head, paying attention to\u00a0the direction of the stitches (they are almost horizontal) and starting with the green part.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The fleshy parts of the flower are first surrounded with split back stitch.
