The design shown in this picture is made on a 40\/40 cm square anthracite linen cushion cover and is fully embroidered with “Soie d’Alger” and metallic thread from au Ver \u00e0 Soie in Paris.<\/span><\/h3>\n

It is in A4 size to suit the most common printers.<\/span> In the case of this work, I enlarged it to obtain a square of 26 cm on the side.<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

The pattern is composed of a central ring and 30 all different flames that I have taken care of to number to facilitate the follow-up of the explanations.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Regarding the threads, you will find for each flame the references of the DMC threads corresponding to the colors of the Soie d’Alger used.<\/span> All the motifs are underlined with backstitch and metallic thread n \u00b0 4 gold 002 of the Ver \u00e0 Soie.<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

By following the explanations, you will notice that I did not always work by following the numerical order given to the flames.<\/span> Indeed, the challenge and the success of this work lie in the assembly of colors.<\/span> The stitches used are quite simple with the exception of certain centers of flames which I will give you the details of the realization over the explanations.<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n
