To embroider this rooster, I used<\/span><\/h2>\n

23 House of Embroidery various stranded cotton and I completed with plain DMC stranded cotton.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The tail, the neck, and the brown wing are made with\u00a0long an short stitch<\/span><\/a> 1 thread. For the body, embroider scallops with blanket stitch<\/span><\/a> 1 thread. The feathers at the base of the tail are represented by lazy daisy<\/span> <\/a>stitches<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 1 thread. The collar is embroidered with satin stitch<\/span><\/a>, the ridge and the beak in straight stitch<\/span><\/a>, all with 1 thread. Add a French knot<\/span><\/a> 2 threads 1 wrap for the eye and finish by embroidering the legs with juxtaposed stem stitch<\/span><\/a> 2 threads.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The trunk of the tree and the large leaves are embroidered with long and short stitch 1 thread. Embroider the small plants attached to the trunk all with 1 thread using blanket stitch, fly stitch<\/span><\/a>, satin stitch, and\u00a0French knot.<\/span><\/h4>\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_4″][et_pb_image admin_label=”image 3″ _builder_version=”3.19.5″ src=”https:\/\/canevasfolies.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/image-3-1.jpg” show_in_lightbox=”on” \/][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.19.5″]\n

The bamboo stems are made up of several rows of juxtaposed stem stitch 1 thread, then decorated with 2 straight stitches 2 threads emphasizing the knots of the wood. The pink flowers are embroidered with blanket stitch and then decorated with straight stitches, all with 1 thread. The hearts are made with French knots 2 threads 1 wrap and the leaves with fishbone stitch 1 thread.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The blue flowers are made with lazy daisy stitches 2 threads for the petals and a French knot 2 threads 1 wrap for the centers.<\/span><\/h4>\n

For the small purple flowers, embroider the stems with stem stitch 1 thread, the leaves with lazy daisy stitch 2 threads\u00a0and the petals with satin stitch 1 thread. Finish with a French knot 2 threads 1 wrap at the center of each flower.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
