Underline the flower with split backstitch 1 thread and pad the petals as indicated with 2 threads. Use DMC stranded cotton.
Embroider the flower with satin stitch 1 thread, the back with the color 20 Berries and the front with the color 40 Christmas red.
In the same way, embroider the 2 buds with the color 40 Christmas red. The main stem is made with rows of 2 threads juxtaposed stem stitch and 69 Woodlands. The small leaves are embroidered with leaf stitch 1 thread and the color 50 Cypress. Add a straight stitch with the gold metallic thread to form the central vein.
The dark leaves are embroidered with satin and long and short stitch 1 thread in the 32 Moss color. The veins are made using rows of juxtaposed stem stitch 2 threads in the 69 Woodlands color and underlined with a back stitch and the metallic thread gold.
All the small decorative patterns are embroidered in the same way. The edge is marked with a split back stitch and then filled with satin stitch and the color 26 Gold, all with 1 thread. They are then underlined with a back stitch and the metallic gold thread.
The lateral patterns are made of several rows of juxtaposed stem stitch 2 threads as follows:
starting on the outside of the pattern, 2 rows with the color 26 Gold and one with the color 29 Olives. Finish by filling the central part with long and short stitch 1 thread and the 11B Sunlight color. Highlight the outline of the pattern with back stitch and the gold metallic thread.
You will notice that I added a few stitches with the metallic thread 038 red to give depth to the flower by highlighting the contours of the petals.
After underlining the 2 flowers with split back stitch, lightly pad the top of each petal with 2 threads, all with red DMC cotton.
The stems are made using 2 rows of stem stitch 2 threads and the 69 Woodlands color, then underlined with back stitch and the metallic gold thread.
As before, the flowers are embroidered with satin stitch 1 thread and the color 20 Berries for the back petals and 40 Christmas red for the petals upfront.
The central leaf is embroidered with leaf stitch and the 32 Moss color. The central vein is realized with back stitch and the metallic gold thread.
The lateral stems are made with 2 rows of stem stitch 2 threads and the color 69 Woodlands. They are then underlined by a back stitch with the metallic gold thread.
The light green pattern is embroidered with satin stitch 1 thread and color 50 Cypress.
These 2 leaves are embroidered with leaf stitch and 32 Moss color as well as satin stitch and 50 Cypress color, all with 1 thread. The vein is made with back stitch and the golden metallic thread.
The yellow decorative pattern is embroidered as explained previously.
